City of Shelby Sanitation Department:

BULKY ITEM PICK-UP

The City of Shelby Sanitation Department will announce Bulky Item Pick-up. Items such as: furniture, boxes, mattresses, and bagged clothes, etc., will be picked up from the curbside. The Sanitation Department does not pick-up items such as: appliances, tires, building materials, paints, oils, and batteries. Please place bulky items for pickup in your yard at curbside. DO NOT mix these items with limbs, leaves, or grass. DO NOT place any items in the street. Bulky Items will only be picked up on the day your garbage is picked up. Items placed on the curb after this week will be subject to citations and fines.

Cleveland County Health Department announces HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION DAY :

At a date to be announced in the Spring, you may dispose of hazardous materials (paint, pesticides, old gas, used oil, etc.) at the Cleveland County Health Department located on Grover Street from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Download 2007 Flier.
