			The monthly Business Appearance Award
			In order to recognize excellence in landscaping, restoration, attractive design and other positive improvements to the city streetscape, The Shelby Appearance Award is given each month to a business (includes churches and schools) whose building and grounds enhance and improve the visual quality and aesthetic characteristics of the City. The award is voted on by the members of the Shelby Appearance Commission.

			Keep Shelby Beautiful is a result of work done by the Shelby Appearance Commission — an advisory board of the City of Shelby. KSB has a volunteer board of directors and the Appearance Commission members are also members of KSB. Stan Anthony is the KSB board chairman. Tommy Forney, Amusements Supervisor for Shelby Parks & Recreation is the KSB Coordinator.
